JB! Wantan mee and KFC??!!!

First up, my favourite wantan mee malaysia style! ate it at a shophouse opposite Holiday Inn Plaza, apologies as i forgotten the shop name, promise to edit it when i return there again and check the shop out.

Take a look at the noodle, is thin and very soft texture, the chilli sauce s nice and the wantan is fresh! Strongly recommend you to try it out, i will find out the address and update you guys again.
4.5/5 for this!

I was still hungry so i head down to Holiday Inn Plaza for KFC! I know is wierd to post here, but i really want to comment it. Check out what i eat first.

KFC Chicken rice meal with chicken meatball soup, Cheesy Potato Wedges and KFC Snack plate meal. Of cause i did not eat them all by myself, ate it with my parents. Here are some up close,
The chicken rice smells fragrant and surprisingly nice!My favourite cheesy potato wedges!

The difference between malaysia and singapore KFC is as above, the way they present it and some out of the box meal like chicken rice! Whats more they serve the chicken big and piping hot! Unlike singapore one which is skinny chicken and sometime even cold! They even place a whole tube of chilli sauce on your table, which you do not have to walk to and fro to get chilli sauce on a pathetic small don't know what is it call in singapore.

Well just my 5 cents, so don't flame me. Cheers! :)

Check out some music!

My favorite corner of my room where music comes alive for me. :)

Check this video out! Think he is really talented!

Back with more food!

I am back after 1 month of vacation job, which explains why my blog fell into the frozen oblivion for a sometime. Here's something i like to recommend at my workplace, btw is Tradehub 21 at Boon Lay Way. LOL!

Mee pok with dumpling! the dumpling was normal, but i think the best part is the meepok with the sauce they used. i think they used the ba chor sauce and the noodle is springy! here's an upclose of how it lookslike.
Bar Chor Mee! my favourite mee pok ta with hiam!
and for a more healthier choice, Prawn Noodle Soup!
They used really fresh prawns for this, which is why i give it a thumb up, unlike those that u eat in food court, the prawn is like powder after u bite, makes u want to PUI!

4/5 for this place noodle.

as for the location, Tradehub 21 @ 8 Boon Lay Way, Singapore 609964.
the exact location of the shop i didn't notice, but is the first coffeshop you see opposite Sakae Sushi.

Nyonya High Tea Buffet @ Goodwood Park Hotel

My sis' bf brought me to this nice hotel to celebrate my birthday. Tried their Nyonya High Tea Buffet, really delicious buffet, just felt that their choice of food serve were kind of limited, other then that, they do really serve nice quality food! :)

My first appetizer, roti prata with chicken curry, think their roti prata is typical as is those kind you can buy frozen de, but what makes it nice is the chicken curry, really yummy. try the curry if you have a chance!

Yummy nyonya laksa! plus otah! wooo... try it...
My second round of prata, but with curry puffs and fried chicken wings. the chicken wings are prawn-pasted! Really delicious!
Nyonya Kuehs! really old school! the only nicest 1 is their 9 layers kueh lapis. the rest you see are just normal.
The best part of the buffet, deserts! cheng teng, cakes and brownie with a scoop of strawberry ice cream! shiok ah! the brownie is really nice! try it! :)

Overall, 4 out of 5 for their high tea buffet. Do take note that it is from 2.30pm to 5pm. $30++ per person.

Address:
Goodwood Park Hotel
Coffee Lounge

Yet another cheap buffet! Waffle buffet @ Waffle Factory

Just 1 month after my fried chicken buffet, i decided to head down to payar lebar with my group of kakis to try out the popular waffle buffet at SG post centre, just beside payar lebar mrt. It was rather cheap, $8.80 per person, inclusive of a drink, additional $3 for a pasta course meal. Really tempting, however, is a 1 hour only buffet.

I would strongly recommend the Nacho cheese and Oreo & D24 durian. Really yummy. Though is a 1 hour buffet, i guess after half an hour. you will start to feel something. :)
Total damage at the buffet for me 10 waffles plus a pasta. Highest was buy Guowei, 11waffles. Give this place a 3.5/5. :)

Address:
10 Jalan Eunos Road
#B1-03 Singapore Post Centre Shopping Mall ( beside Payar Lebar Mrt)

Melaka Trip

Went to Melaka last Wed with my parents. My dad drove 1 1/2 hr straight before reaching. Crazy of him to speed at 170km/h. lol. Abv is the oldest church in Melaka.

Well of course, my purpose there is to hunt for food! haha. but also do some sight seeing.

check this out man, i love the way this 'bar' is set up. It literally has a bar setting, but inside, it sells fruit juice and coffee.. now this is a place i would love to hang out since they do not sell alcohol.. haha..

this is even more interesting, this is really a bar that sells alcohol. It even has a live band inside. Imagine a bar in the old shop house streets of Melaka, a nostalgic feel with a touch of contemporary settings. Guess what food they food they sell inside? Nyonya Laksa! haha.. power man, can attract both the old and young! now this is a creative idea that can be bring in to Singapore, selling traditional food in a bar! haha.
Melaka largest pineapple tart which made it into the Malaysia book of record.

Finally settled down at this place for a sumptious meal of chicken rice. Rice ball! yummy!

honestly the food here is so-so. Won't really recommend you guys to try, but i will recommend you to this...

this place serve the best chendol and ice kacang in the WORLD. yes the WORLD. Why?
the ice is sooooo fine, it literally melts in your mouth.. yes! it melts.. that is call really ice kacang.. Singapore where can find? almost by far the ice i eat in SG i need to chew the ice... haha... 5/5 for this.. Nyonya chendol! :)

Some nice buffets i tried by far. UNDER $15 only! Dallas Chicken and Ribs!

First up, Dallas Chicken and Ribs @ Chinatown. Tried their chicken buffet and was very tasty. find it better then KFC and their 2 pcs meal is only $4.90. heard dallas chicken is from UK.btw the food they served is halal.

Erm i ate the buffet with Guowei and is only $12 per person! imagine this, free flow fried chicken, drumlets, fries, onion rings etc. LOL.

I kinda of like their restaurant ambience and settings. Simple design, air-conditioned, very UK like. I kinda like their fried nuggets and onion rings. Nuggets is typical taste, but onion rings is real nice. BK onion rings used to reign in the past but their standard kind of drop. This is the best part, they are served piping hot, very very hot and crispy!

I like the fact that they give us a hand wipe each (wet fragrant wipes) just like some fast food operators in Europe. So no trouble finding wash basin. Overall, nice dining experience, give this buffet a 4/5! So why dont u bring ur family and friends down for a buffet? This is one and only chicken buffet in town! Hurry down...
